About Fraternity Spiritist Society
Since 1992 the Fraternity Spiritist Society has been providing help to people in London through offering study programs, one to one spiritual guidance sessions, and calling followers to Jesus Gospel and reaching out to the ones in need.
Our team of volunteers is made of people of various age groups with a variety of experiences and specialisations, where each and every one adds value to our Spiritist Centre. We are united by the ideal of charity and serving, the love to our neighbour, and the willingness to improve as individuals and as a group.
Our community approach keeps as focused with the needs of the vulnerable, and we support other institutions’ projects in the UK and Brazil.​
​Our History
The Fraternity Spiritist Society was founded on the 1st of March 1992, with the aim of studying and encouraging spiritual growth in line with the Spiritist Teachings, codified by Allan Kardec and based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We are most grateful to Mr. Kleber Luis Celadon and Mrs. Annelise Virginia Celadon, founders of Fraternity.
Also, our eternal recognition and gratitude to Divaldo P. Franco, Raul Teixeira and many other Visitors/Speakers, active Spiritist workers in Brazil, who have supported and guided us with so much knowledge passed on over these years.
Many workers of the FSS went on to found or take part in other London based organisations, such as, the Solidarity Spiritist Society, Sir Willian Crooks Spiritist Society and The Spiritist Psychological Society.
On the 15th of August 2011, the Fraternity Spiritist Society officially gained the status of a charitable institution regulated by the Charities Commission of England and Wales with registration number: 1143361
